They sell more than 250,000 jerseys every year, into 27 countries, and for 110 customers including big names such as Nike, CCM, and Reebok.

“Our ERP system is an essential part of our business and while we were not experiencing any problems there were many changes to our business processes and we felt updating our ERP system to a more technologically modern, functionally rich solution would help our growing business,” said Steve Berard, Executive Vice President and co-owner.

Berard decided to approach this very strategically, realizing this could be an opportunity to not only upgrade the system, but to make changes to improve efficiency and reduce overall costs.

He identified the following 3 steps to manage this important move:

1)      Created an RFP and evaluated 5 vendors on their ERP solution.

2)      Short-listed Infor & Microsoft.

3)      Evaluated total cost of ownership for this new ERP system.

Goods and Services Tax or (GST), represents the biggest tax reform in India’s history. This new tax regime, which replaces the current complex structure of multiple indirect taxes in favor of a comprehensive dual Goods and Services Tax (GST), came into effect July 1, 2017.

The RSWM Business and IT team worked with ICCG – an Infor M3 Implementation Partner, to complete this important deployment in record time - just 20 days. While the ICCG and RSWM teams worked on implementing GST on ERP Infor M3 for its yarn business, the internal RSWM team had taken full responsibility to implement GST on TIM/ BPCS. Both ERPs have successfully gone live with the support of all team members.
